John Dowden Johnson

John Dowden was born on January 20th, 1816 in Ross Co., OH.¹   John Dowden's father was William Johnson and his mother was Jane Biggs Dowden. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Gore, William Henry, George, Otho S., Isaac McCracken, James Hinton, Caleb Harper, Anna Gore, Sarah Lambert, Sophia M., Jane Eliza and Marietta.  He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 24 on May 9th, 1840.¹
