George Johnson

George was born on August 9th, 1817 in Fayette Co., OH.¹   George's father was William Johnson and his mother was Jane Biggs Dowden. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Gore, William Henry, John Dowden, Otho S., Isaac McCracken, James Hinton, Caleb Harper, Anna Gore, Sarah Lambert, Sophia M., Jane Eliza and Marietta.  He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 26 on December 18th, 1843.¹
