James Hinton Johnson

James Hinton was born on March 20th, 1825 in Fayette Co., OH.¹   James Hinton's father was William Johnson and his mother was Jane Biggs Dowden. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Gore, William Henry, John Dowden, George, Otho S., Isaac McCracken, Caleb Harper, Anna Gore, Sarah Lambert, Sophia M., Jane Eliza and Marietta.  He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 44 on February 18th, 1870.¹
