Son was born on April 12th, 1712.¹ Son's father was Thomas Jennings and his mother was Sarah Bishop. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Jennings and Susannah Wade. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Benjamin, Jonathan, Nathan, Ruben, Jeremiah, David, Ephraim and Mary.¹
