Jonathan was born on July 6th, 1721.1   Jonathan's father was Thomas Jennings and his mother was Sarah Bishop.  His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Jennings and Susannah Wade. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Son, Benjamin, Nathan, Ruben, Jeremiah, David, Ephraim and Mary.1
