Earnest Huyck

Earnest was born on March 26th, 1889 in Dekalb, Indiana.¹ Earnest's father was John Teed Huyck and his mother was Mary Jane Jefferds. His paternal grandparents were John T. Huyck and Lucinda Basil; his maternal grandparents were James W. Jefferds and Jane Ann Day. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Byron, Charles Leroy, Unknown, Earl M., Bertha Jane, Pearl, Mary Mable, Eva E. and Lisle. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 1 on December 1st, 1890 in Butler, Dekalb, Indiana.¹
