Charles Leroy Huyck 
Charles Leroy was born on October 6th, 1876 in Butler, Dekalb, Indiana.1 Charles Leroy's father was John Teed Huyck and his mother was Mary Jane Jefferds. His paternal grandparents were John T. Huyck and Lucinda Basil; his maternal grandparents were James W. Jefferds and Jane Ann Day. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Byron, Unknown, Earl M., Earnest, Bertha Jane, Pearl, Mary Mable, Eva E. and Lisle. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 64 on July 20th, 1941 in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, California.1 General Notes
