Tabatha was born about 1755 in Henry, Virginia.1 Tabatha's father was John Hurt and her mother was Margaret Hurt. Her paternal grandparents were William Hurt and Ann Unknown. She had four brothers named John, Joel, Moses and Joseph. She was the third oldest of the five children.1 -
