John Hurt 
John was born about 1751 in Henry, Virginia.1 John's father was John Hurt and his mother was Margaret Hurt. His paternal grandparents were William Hurt and Ann Unknown. He had three brothers and a sister, named Joel, Moses, Joseph and Tabatha. He was the oldest of the five children.1 -
