Ivey Horne

Ivey was born in 1797.¹   Ivey's father was Henry Horne and her mother was Serena Barfield.  Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Horne; her maternal grandparents were Moses Barfield and Piety Unknown. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Hilkiah, Hardy, Alfred, Daniel, Lewis, Thomas, Benjamin, Wright, Serena, Lennie and Rillie.  She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.¹
