Hilkiah Horne

Hilkiah was born in 1789.¹   Hilkiah's father was Henry Horne and his mother was Serena Barfield.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas Horne; his maternal grandparents were Moses Barfield and Piety Unknown. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Hardy, Alfred, Daniel, Lewis, Thomas, Benjamin, Wright, Serena, Ivey, Lennie and Rillie.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.¹
