Alfred Horne

Alfred was born on April 27th, 1792.¹   Alfred's father was Henry Horne and his mother was Serena Barfield.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas Horne; his maternal grandparents were Moses Barfield and Piety Unknown. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Hilkiah, Hardy, Daniel, Lewis, Thomas, Benjamin, Wright, Serena, Ivey, Lennie and Rillie.  He was the third oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 66 in 1858 in Onslow Co., N. C..¹
