Thomas Holcombe 
Thomas was born in 1601 in Pembrokeshire, England.1 Thomas' father was Gilbert Holcombe and his mother was Anne Elizabeth Courtenay. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Holcombe and Margaret Trethford; his maternal grandfather was Peter Courtenay. He had two brothers named Thomas and Alfred. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 56 on September 7th, 1657 in Windsor, Ct.2 General Notes

Thomas Holcomb left Plymouth,England in March 1630 aboard the "Mary & John" and arrived in Dorchester,Massachusetts.
He married Elizabeth Ferguson, also a passenger aboard the "Mary & John".
Elizabeth may have been widowed so her maiden name may not have Ferguson.
Thomas may have been born in Pembrokeshire, Wales or Devonshire.
On May 14,1634, Thomas was made a freeman in Dorchester,MA.
In September 1635,Thomas sold his land to Richard Jones of Dorchester and moved to the Poquonock section of Windsor,CT.
In 1640, Thomas' name appears as a land owner in Poquonock.
