John Griswold 
John was born in Kenilworth, England and his baptism took place in 1639 in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England.1 2 John's father was Edward Griswold and his mother was Sarah Bemis. His paternal grandparents were George Griswold and Dousabel Leigh; his maternal grandfather was James Bemis. He had four brothers and five sisters, named George, Francis, Samuel, Joseph, Lydia, Ann, Mary, Deborah and Sarah. He died on August 7th, 1717.2 -
