Frederick Griswold 
Frederick was born on October 13th, 1808 in Litchfield, Litchfield, CT.1 Frederick's father was Benjamin Griswold and his mother was Sally Wright. His maternal grandparents were Jonathan Wright and Leah Bissell. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Stanley, Benjamin, Lewis, Sylvester, Honor, Mary, Sally Maria and Diana Carter. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.1 -
