Abigail Goodyear

Abigail was born in 1699 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.¹ Abigail's father was John Goodyear and her mother was Abigail Gibbard. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Goodyear and Margaret Lewen; her maternal grandparents were William Gibbard and Ann Tapp. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Stephen, John, Nathaniel, Theophilis, Andrew, Obediant and Esther. She was the second youngest of the eight children.¹
