Edward LaFayette Gooding 
Edward LaFayette was born on June 28th, 1855 in Livonia Twp, Wayne, Michigan.1 Edward LaFayette's father was Josiah G. Gooding and his mother was Mary Adeline Booth. His paternal grandparents were John Gooding and Sally. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Jesiah Clifford, John Frederick, Mary Adeline, Ursula Louisa, Ann Lauicia, Emeline Melissent, Caroline Auguste, Arabella Elizabeth, Frances Marion and Sarah Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the eleven children.1 -
