George Gaylord 
George was born about 1592 in Pitminster, Somerset, England.1 George's father was Hugh Gaylord and his mother was Joan Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Gaillard and Joan Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Christopher, William, John, Edmund, Hugh, Alice, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the oldest of the nine children.1 General Notes
