Melinda Isabella Floyd 
Melinda Isabella was born on March 20th, 1812 in "Fairfield", Camden Co, GA.1 Melinda Isabella's father was John Floyd and her mother was Isabella Maria Hazard. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Floyd and Mary Fendin; her maternal grandparents were Richard Hazzard and Phoebe Loftain. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Charles Rinaldo, John Fendin, William Henry, Richard Ferdinand, Samuel Augustus, Henry Hamilton, Mary Hazzard, Sarah Catherine Wigg, Susan Lodviski Dixon and Caroline Eliza Louise. She was the third youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 19 on October 14th, 1831 in McIntosh Co, GA.1 General Notes

She died suddenly at the residence of his omother on the 14th of October having been married but little over one month; and while her mother was expecting her on a visit home; her corpse was carried to her! How were her fond hopes and expectations disappointed, cut off by this mysterious dispensation. She had a sweet, well cultivated voice, very social in her manners, affectionate and kind-hearted. Her husband did not long survive her, and both were gathered to the tomb in their early years - leaving many sad hearts which loved them and missed them.
