Sarah Jane Fierce 
Sarah Jane was born in 1825 in Athens, Ohio.1 Sarah Jane's father was John Fierce and her mother was Catherine Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Christian Furst and Hannah; her maternal grandfather was Christian Miller. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Butcher, Isaac, Matilda and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the five children.1 -
