Matilda Fierce 
Matilda was born in 1810 in Fayette Co., PA.1 Matilda's father was John Fierce and her mother was Catherine Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Christian Furst and Hannah; her maternal grandfather was Christian Miller. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Butcher, Isaac, Elizabeth and Sarah Jane. She was the oldest of the five children.1 -
