John Fierce 
John was born in 1780 in Loudoun Co., Virginia.1 John's father was Christian Furst and his mother was Hannah. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Furst and Sarah. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Conrad, Cline, Peter, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah and Margaret "Peggy". He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 66 in 1846.1 General Notes

John Fierce (Christian 1, Johannes 1) was born in 1780 in Loudoun County. He married Catherine Miller, Daughter of Christian Miller in 1805 and moved to Redstone Township, in Faayette County, Pennsylvania. His marriage license was taken under the name of Feast but from the time he moved to Fayette County the spelling became Fierce and has remained Fierce. The family moved to Athens County about 1813 or 1814 where they lived the balance of his and Caatherine's lives. He died in 1846.
