Hiram Fierce 
Hiram was born in 1847 in Ohio.1 Hiram's father was Thomas Butcher Fierce and his mother was Mary MacCartney. His paternal grandparents were John Fierce and Catherine Miller; his maternal grandparents were John MacCartney and Sarah Jane Jones. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William Wallace, Henry, Lewis, Clark, Charles, Louisa, Catherine, Sarah, Matilda and Mary Theresa. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.1 -
