Margaret was born about 1359 in Of, Inchmohomo, Scotland.1   Margaret's father was John Drummond and her mother was Mary Margaret.  Her paternal grandfather was Malcolm Drummond. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Malcolm, John, William, Mary Margaret and Annabella.  She was the youngest of the six children.1
