Simeon Dewey

Simeon was born on October 7th, 1784 in Hanover, Graft., NH.¹ Simeon's father was Simeon Dewey and his mother was Elizabeth Turner. His paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Anna Phelps; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Bridgman and Elizabeth Hatch. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Jesse, Luke, William Phelps, Joseph Langdon, Betsey, Cynthia, Sophronia and Paulina. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had a half-sibling of unknown gender named Seneca. He died at the age of 78 on April 1st, 1863 in Brest, Monroe Co., MICH, age 78.¹
