Joseph Langdon was born on August 12th, 1789 in Hanover, Graft., NH.1 Joseph Langdon's father was Simeon Dewey and his mother was Elizabeth Turner. His paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Anna Phelps; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Bridgman and Elizabeth Hatch. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Jesse, Luke, Simeon, William Phelps, Betsey, Cynthia, Sophronia and Paulina. He was the youngest of the nine children. He had a half-sibling of unknown gender named Seneca. He died at the age of 83 on June 30th, 1873 in Hanover, Graft., NH, age 83, kidney disease.1 -
