Mira Olive was born on September 17th, 1878 in Kansas City, MO.1 Mira Olive's father was Simeon J. Dewey and her mother was Olive Caroline McClelland. Her paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Betsey Bigelow Knight; her maternal grandparents were John McClelland and Fanny Moore. She had two brothers and a sister, named Simeon John, Lorenzo and Frances Moore. She was the second youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Charles Francis, William Curtis, Lizzie, Alice Mira and Lillie Jane.1 -
