Edith Marion was born on June 7th, 1881 in Brest, MICH.1 Edith Marion's father was Jesse Nelson Dewey and her mother was Adline F. McMartin. Her paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Lydia Higgans. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John McMartin, Roy Jesse, Donald Bowen, Cloie, Adaline and Floris. She was the second youngest of the seven children.1 -
