Donald Bowen was born on May 25th, 1883 in Brest, MICH.1 Donald Bowen's father was Jesse Nelson Dewey and his mother was Adline F. McMartin. His paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Lydia Higgans. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John McMartin, Roy Jesse, Cloie, Adaline, Floris and Edith Marion. He was the youngest of the seven children.1 -
