Rosa Ella Dean 
Rosa Ella was born on August 13th, 1887.1 Rosa Ella's father was Jesse Barnwell Dean and her mother was Mary Ellen Rushing. Her paternal grandparents were Allen Nelson Dean and Anne Peeples. She had two brothers and two sisters, named James Edward, William Procter, Florrie Estell and Carrie Virginia. She had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Elliott Luther, Jesse Lee, George Gibson, Robert Calhoun, William Eugene, Percy Benjamin, Mamie Eulalia, Geneva and Nina Inez.1 -
