Matilda Jane was born on January 1st, 1870 in SC.1 Matilda Jane's father was Robert Wilson Dean and her mother was Emma Emily. Her paternal grandparents were John Gideon Dean and Celestria A. J.. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Augustus D., Mary C. and Isadora. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 83 on November 22nd, 1953 in Tillman, SC.1 -
