Silas C was born on October 11th, 1848.1 Silas C's father was Mathias Croft and his mother was Maria Chapman. His paternal grandparents were John Croft and Mary Meeks. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Charles P, Francis D, William H, William R, Frances D, Hannah, Harriet, Mary J and Mary L. He died at the age of 53 on April 12th, 1902 in Buried Hillside Cemetery, Peekskill N.Y..1 -
