John Croft 
John was born in April 1787 in Cortlandtown, Westchester Co. NY.1 John's father was James Croft and his mother was Hester Vought. His paternal grandparents were John Croft and Mary Bowman; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Christian Vought and Christina Rhineheart. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Stephen, James H, Elizabeth, Hester, Kate and Margaret. He died at the age of 87 on December 29th, 1874 in Buried Hillside Cemetery, Peekskill N.Y..1 -
