Thomas was born on May 6th, 1787 in Welton, Northamptonshire, Eng..1 Thomas' father was John Chamberlain and his mother was Ann Eales. His paternal grandparents were John Chamberlain and Alice Unknown. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, Thomas, Richard, Francis, Joseph, Ann and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.1 -
