Phebe was born in 1846 in Lorain Co., OH.1 Phebe's father was John Chamberlain and her mother was Ann Glover. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Chamberlain and Sarah Checkley; her maternal grandparents were William Glover and Phoebe Sturgis. She had a brother named John. She was the older of the two children. She had seven half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, John, Charles Thomas, George, Oliver, Nelson, Arthur and Mary. She died at the age of 8 in 1854 in Lorain Co., OH.1 -
