Maria T. was born on August 23rd, 1833 in Russo, Switzerland.1   Maria T.'s father was Joannes Buzzini and her mother was Caterina Milani. She had six brothers and two sisters, named John A., George F., Martin, Salvatore, Joseph W., Israel, Catherina R. and Agata T..  She was the second oldest of the nine children.1
