John A. was born on August 26th, 1835 in Russo, Switzerland.1   John A.'s father was Joannes Buzzini and his mother was Caterina Milani. He had five brothers and three sisters, named George F., Martin, Salvatore, Joseph W., Israel, Catherina R., Maria T. and Agata T..  He was the third oldest of the nine children.1
