Janet Budge

Janet was born on January 2nd, 1772 in Thurso, Caithness, Scot and her baptism took place on January 2nd, 1772 in Scarmelet, Cthns, Sctl.¹ Janet's father was William Budge and her mother was Helen Meiklejohn. Her paternal grandparents were John Budge and Jannet Bain. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, George, William, David, William, George, Donald, Ester, Betty and Esther.¹
