Ester Budge

Ester was born in January 1779 and her baptism took place on January 24th, 1779 in Sordel, Caithness, Scotland.¹ Ester's father was William Budge and her mother was Helen Meiklejohn. Her paternal grandparents were John Budge and Jannet Bain. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, George, William, David, William, George, Donald, Janet, Betty and Esther.¹
