Lucinda was born on July 12th, 1849.1   Lucinda's father was David S. Breeze and her mother was Elizabeth Spaulding.  Her paternal grandparents were John Breeze and Sarah Hollaway; her maternal grandfather was Philip Spaulding. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William, David H., Thomas S., James M., George W., Mary Elizabeth and Clarinda.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.1
