William Bragg

William was born about 1827.¹   William's father was John Bragg and his mother was Mary Sasser.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Sasser and Clarisy. He had nine brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, John, Seaborn, James, David, Henry B., Littleton, Howell, Jasper, Elizabeth, Clary, Martha, Mary A., Margaret and Jane.  He was the eighth oldest of the sixteen children.  He died in 1866.¹
