Mertie Boyett

Mertie was born on April 20th, 1903 in Bulloch Co., GA.¹ Mertie's father was James Frederick Boyett and her mother was Nancy Ann Rewis. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Boyett and Matilda Holland. She had eight brothers and seven sisters, named James Coy, Jessie James, William Asberry, Benjamin Harrison "Scrap", George Washington, Julian, John, Owen, Mary Alice, Mattie Lee, Letha Matilda, Queen, Frances Gertrude, Freddie and Ruth. She died about 1910 in Evans Co., GA.¹
