Eli Lee was born on October 1st, 1878 in Pierce Co., GA.1 Eli Lee's father was William M. Boyett and his mother was Sarah Pricilla "Sallie" Holland. His paternal grandparents were Seth Boyet and Patience Moore; his maternal grandparents were Green Thrift and Polly Holland. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Asberry, Thomas J., Stephen M., William E., James S., Algerine M., Polly Ann Elizabeth, Ida Mozelle and Sarah Pricilla. He was the second youngest of the ten children.2 -
