Zera Ottis was born on January 31st, 1902 in TATTNALL CO, GA.1 Zera Ottis' father was William Melton Blalock and her mother was Ann Jane Boyett. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Boyett and Matilda Holland. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William Lester, Harley Preston, Jasper Melton, John B. Gordon, Leonard Dawson, William Troy, Deanor Gertrude, Alice and Maude Ethel. She died at the age of 87 on March 25th, 1989 in ANDERSON CHURCH CEMETERY.
