Deanor Gertrude was born on January 28th, 1895 in Tattnall Co., GA.1 Deanor Gertrude's father was William Melton Blalock and her mother was Ann Jane Boyett. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Boyett and Matilda Holland. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William Lester, Harley Preston, Jasper Melton, John B. Gordon, Leonard Dawson, William Troy, Alice, Zera Ottis and Maude Ethel. She died at just 23 days old on February 20th, 1895.2 -
