George Washington was born on November 30th, 1836.1   George Washington's father was John Banaja Berry and his mother was Mary A. Metzger.  His paternal grandparents were John Berry and Mary Reiser Hoffman; his maternal grandparents were David Metzger and Mary Waters. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John D., James Franklin, Rubin R., Mary Maria, Martha Harriett, Margaret Elizabeth, Sarah Jane, Susan Ann and Amelia Katherine.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He had a half-sister named Sarah Amelia.1
