Samuel Beach 
Samuel was born on June 5th, 1660 in Wallingford, CT.1 Samuel's father was Thomas Beach and his mother was Sarah Platt. His maternal grandparents were Richard Platt and Mary Wood. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, Zophar, Sarah and Mary. He was the second youngest of the six children. He had four half-sisters named Martha, Mary, Hannah and Deborah. He died at the age of 68 in 1728.1 General Notes

Beach Family Magazine: The patent for Milford given May 22, 1713, has the name of Samuel Beach as one of the proprietors.
Samuel's estate was divided Feb. 25, 1728-9 was L296-11s-6d. One half was distributed to the widow and the other half to his surviving brothers, sister and half sisters.
The heirs of John Beach; Zophar Beach; Heirs of Sarah Lyon; Heirs of Martha Paine (Peime); Deborah Burwell and Mary Hull of Derby. The executors: John Fowler; Samuel and Josiah Platt.
The epitaphs in the Milford Burying ground are: "Here lies buried ye body of Samuel Beach who died Sept. ye 9th 1728 in ye 69th year of his age"
"Her lyes body of Mrs. Abigail An....."
