Richard Platt 
Richard was born in 1603 in WARE, ENGLAND.1 Richard's father was George Platt and his mother was Mary Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Simon Platt and Elizabeth. He was an only child. He died at the age of 81 in 1684 in MILFORD, CONN.1 General Notes

Richard Platt (1603-1684) came from Bovington, Hertfordshire, England on 'Hector' to Boston, Mass in 1637, with wife and four children. He moved to New Haven, Conn in 1638, and was granted lands at Milford, Conn. in 1646, and was chosen deacon in 1669.
