Juliana was born about 1168 in Of, Tockington, Gloucestershire, England.1 Juliana's father was Hugh Bardolf and her mother was Isobel Aquillion. Her paternal grandparents were Hugo Bardolf and Mrs-Hugo Bardolf. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Hugh, Robert, Isolda (Iseude), Cecilia, Matilda, Daughter and Beatrice.
