Beatrice was born about 1198 in Of Great Carleto, Lancashire, England.1 Beatrice's father was Hugh Bardolf and her mother was Isobel Aquillion. Her paternal grandparents were Hugo Bardolf and Mrs-Hugo Bardolf. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Hugh, Robert, Isolda (Iseude), Juliana, Cecilia, Matilda and Daughter. She was the youngest of the eight children.1 -
